WEEK 1 ACTIVITY
The current global buzz-word (and certainly at Macquarie University) is “Sustainability”. A sustainable society, said the World Commission on Environment and Development in 1987, is one that "meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
So how will we learn about it?
- Find a little pot and plant these seeds.
- Nurture and care for them. (That includes watering them…)
- By the workshop, the seeds will hopefully grow to seedlings.
- Keep a weekly log of what you’re doing for your seeds.
